Computational Modelling of Open Channel Flow Around Bridge Piers

Scouring and erosion around the bridge piers is a big problem to the civil engineering world. Same goes to what happen in Malaysia, the weather and properties of the river has been worsen from time to time that endangers the bridge piers all over the country. This study is undertaken to assess the flow of river around the bridge piers in river, especially in Langat River.
