Abstract
The major goal of this project is to prevent overcrowding in the UTP parking lot by putting in place an effective parking system and a simple-to-use application. One typically feels uncomfortable searching for a parking space in public spaces like multiplex theatres, market areas, hospitals, function halls, workplaces, and retail malls, even though it's a paid facility with an attendant/security officer. The suggested parking management system would show off hazel-free parking. The suggested system makes use of infrared transmitter-receiver pairs to remotely communicate the status of parking occupancy to the raspberry pi and displays the open slots on the dashboard through the user's smartphone so that the user is aware of the availability or unavailability of parking spaces before entering the parking place. The user will spend much less time parking their car because to implementation's low human intervention and flawless parking experience
