Abstract
Energy and water share a mutual interconnected relationship in all aspects of life, particularly in key sectors such as electricity generation and power supply. Both of these sectors are major carbon emitters due to growing societal demands. The relationship between these three elements is termed as the energy-carbon-water (ECW) nexus.
