Abstract
The goal of this research is to address the difficulties that older people, particularly those between the ages of 65 and 80, have in adhering to their prescription regimens. These difficulties can result in negative health outcomes and a reduced quality of life. The main goal is to create a specific mobile application that offers helpful and timely medication reminders. First, to create a smartphone app reminding elders to take their medications, with a focus on enhancing medication adherence. The other goal is to keep reminding the elderly to take medication based on the schedule entered. Moreover, this project used agile software development life cycle (SDLC) technique, to ensure flexibility and incremental improvements. The process also included planning, analysis, design, development, and testing as a part of this project to be completed at the end. The project intends to continue improving the program in the future based on user input, maybe adding new features and functionalities to meet the changing healthcare demands of the senior population.
