Abstract

The project’s main goal is designed to help students and staff at universities and colleges find workout partners, track their progress, and schedule workouts. With busy schedules and limited time, it can be difficult to stay motivated and committed to a fitness routine. Our app aims to solve this problem by providing a platform for users to connect with like-minded individuals and achieve their fitness goals together. At its core, the app endeavors to facilitate the discovery of compatible workout partners among the university community, empowering users to establish shared fitness objectives and mutual support networks. By leveraging the power of social interaction and like-minded fitness aspirations, the app seeks to instill motivation and commitment to workout routines. Key functionalities of the Gym Buddy Tracker App encompass user-friendly features enabling individuals to seamlessly search for workout partners, track their fitness progress, and coordinate workout schedules within the university framework. Users can log in to their accounts or swiftly create new ones, providing essential personal details such as full name, contact information, and preferred workout schedules. Furthermore, the app integrates a comprehensive feedback mechanism allowing users to rate and review workout sessions or partners, fostering a culture of constructive engagement and continuous improvement within the fitness community. This project is envisioned as a transformative tool, aiming to cultivate a thriving fitness-oriented culture within universities and colleges. Future iterations will focus on refining user feedback mechanisms, expanding functionalities, and adapting to evolving user needs to ensure an optimal fitness experience for the university community
