Abstract

Carbon capture and storage (CCS) has attracted researchers’ attention due to the increasing emission of CO2 gases, which leads to global warming and climate change. CO2 adsorption using solid adsorbents such as activated carbon (AC) derived from lignocellulosic biomass waste is one of the effective approaches to reducing CO2 emissions.
