Abstract
Miri in Sarawak, has been identified to contain significant onshore resources. Well Miri-1 was developed in 1910 after identifying an anticline near oil leaks, the field had produced a total of 80 million barrels of oil before it was closed in 1972 (Sorkhabi, 2010).
