Constructed wetlands, commonly known as reed beds, offer an efficient, low-cost, and natural method for treating wastewater and removing zinc. This study focused on developing and testing a lab-scale horizontal constructed wetland planted with Phragmites australis to evaluate its effectiveness in removing zinc from synthetic wastewater.
