Abstract

Floating oily sludge, with its complex composition of petrochemical hydrocarbons and diverse contaminants, poses substantial environmental and health risks. Conventional methods such as skimming often require additional treatment, and existing bioaugmentation techniques struggle with the complete removal of total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH).
