Abstract

The Catalytic Reforming Reactor at Malaysian Refining Company Sdn. Bhd. (MRCSB) in Petronas Secondary Refinery Phase 1 (PSR-1) produces significant hydrogen and reformate from naphtha, dominantly through dehydrogenation, enhanced by chloride injection from Continuous Catalyst Regeneration (CCR-1) to the platinum catalysts.
