Abstract

This report basically discusses the preliminary research done which is Modeling Investigation of Ilydrodynamic load on Jack-up
Offshore Structure. the objective of the project is to verify and compare the
experimental result of MSL. Jack-up model with computer simulation (using; SACS
Sollwarc) and theoretical calculation (using Morison F. ytuttion). The significant of this
research would be important to evaluate the behavior of scale model of Jack-up platform
under usual hydronamic loads such its waves and current. The scale model of Jack-up
platform also which is build and test at UTP offshore engineering lab. So that, the impact
of hydnodynamic loads of the model can be carried out to compare with the typical MSL.
Jack-up platfionn which is developed by MSL. Engineering L td. for the I lealth and Safety Executive 2003. The typical MML Jack-up platform is located at Central North Sea.
