Abstract
Dividing Wall Column (DWC) provides a good alternative over traditional distillation column for multicomponent fractionation However, due to the additional interactions, and non-linear behavior, has led to the increase of complexity in operation and control. Hence, this study aims to address and analyses the controllability of DWC in separating a ternary mixture of methanol, 1-propanol, and 1-butanol.
