Abstract

Since the industrial revolution, human waste has increased significantly, creating challenges in maintaining clean water. Wastewater pollution, particularly from toxic compounds like phenyl phenol, which is a common biocide and preservative, has become a major issue due to its resistance to conventional treatment methods. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of Sono-degradation, an ultrasonic advanced oxidation method, in removing phenyl phenol from wastewater.
