Abstract

This project aims to find a method to develop the most efficient activated carbon prepared from rice husk. In the project, the rice husk is initially grinded and sieved, then treated with sodium hydroxide, carbonized at 400 and 600ºC and finally extraction study was done to determine the activated carbon adsorption capacity.
