Abstract

The objective of this project is to design and test suitable driver circuit to ensure meet current control objective. Injector driver for automotive engines require peak-and-hold current control for operation. For this project, several current control circuits need to be test on circuit simulator (EWB Multisim). Besides, the implementation of driver circuit will be done on PCB using injector driver chip, PCB maker and schematic capture software. At the end of this project, it is planned that the best circuit fabricated will be test on actual automotive injector. Analog electronics and microelectronic course will be applied for designing the circuit and to calculate the required data. As a conclusion, this project is to design and fabricate the injector driver that can meet the current control i.e. peak-and-hold current.
