Abstract

The report describes briefly the background of the project which mentions the
definition of oil seep and Labuan geological setting. The project is about studying the
relationship between the three given crude samples with the samples from the three
oil fields near Labuan and other five oil fields. The report also informs about the
project's problem statement, objectives and scope of study of the research. Under the
scope of study, the report explains the relevance of the project and its feasibility
within the time frame of ten months. The favoured chemical analysis is discussed in
the literature review. The project activities, tools required and key milestones are
stated in methodology part of the report. It is concluded that the unknown samples A,
Band Care from Angsi, Baronia and Dulang oil fields respectively.
