DEVELOPMENT OF WLP IN GEOPOLYMER

The production of hazardous waste materials from industrial processes has cause major concern on the environment due to their intractable, harmful and costly disposal methods. Waste products from mining could be listed among the harmful ones including WLP, Water Leach Purification. WLP is a waste produced from rare earth material from mining activities. In Malaysia it is produced by the mining company Lynas. WLP can be a radioactive element. Hence, ways to use it in construction materials can be a good solution for the environment.
