Abstract
Cutting down the maintenance cost, reduce the cleaning time and eliminates air pollution are the 3 main objectives set in this project entitle “To Design a glass wall cleaning mechanism”. The challenge here is to design a cleaning mechanism that will clean the outer wall of the glass panel of the Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS academic block while fulfilling the 3 objectives. Thus, a series of criteria were set, and justified, conceptual model to represent the criteria is designed and given verdict before the real product is being design in details. The final product of this project is a detail design of a cleaning mechanism that is supported by a supporting system which will be move across the rooftop of the academic building.
