Abstract

The following abstract is taken from Epung Saepul Bahrum on “Preliminary Study of Synthesis Of Alumina By Thermite Reaction” masters research project from Institute Technology Bandung 2000. The reaction between Aluminum and Titanium Oxide is an exothermic reaction in nature. Theoretically this reaction could reach a temperature of 3000 Celsius. The studies include the experimental analysis using the FESEM-EDS, XRD, XRF and Optical Spectroscopy Microscope viewing of the specimen
