Abstract

Large water storages like reservoirs and open lakes are the primary source of drinking water and energy production. As a result of the change in climate, particularly the increase in surface air temperatures, evaporation is expected to increase throughout Indonesia/Malaysia. One way of saving available water resources is to reduce evaporation that leads to the loss of a large amount of water from reservoirs and open lakes.
