Abstract
This project is to design and analyse the suspension system of a racing car. The design of the suspension systems and mechanisms affect the overall characteristic of the vehicle, by providing adequate maneuverability. This involves the application of vehicle dynamics. The characteristic can be obtained from the relation of kinematics and dynamics of the system by manipulating the various governing parameters. It can be done via analytical method as well as modeling simulation. Therefore, there are various solutions to improve the vehicle‟s characteristics.
